Scrapbooking class today

Jennifer Montgomery and I have a scrapbooking class today over in Rotorua. We are teaching shaped edge Layouts and using acetate or transparencies. I did this one up quickly to show the students today …not the best choice of photo for such a girly soft LO but it was the only one that matched with colour I had! lol (gotta love that face Aye? Ted is my sisters dog)

I’m a big fan of shaped LOs and they are all the rage at the moment in the scrapbooking world so we thought we would teach it today.  The DSP is Bella Rose and the stamps Ive used is Rustic Rooster (level 2 hostess set) and Blooming with beauty (around the edges). We have another colour way we are teaching too which is the Washington Apple DSP. I havent done up a LO for that but Jenn has so will post those when I get some time.

Ive just got home late last night from the Hamilton Craft Show where I was working on our stand (D15). Had a busy couple of days..talking, teaching and talking some more…its still on for the next two days so pop down to see the stand ..take some classes and have a spot of retail therapy …its an amazing show and also as an ex quilter/embroiderer and beader it was a divine retail sight to see.

Thanks to all the ladies who stopped by the stand to have a chat and also to the ladies who watched my waterfall mini album demonstration and putting up with a newbie at the headset microphone thing.

If you are near Rotorua I am teaching the waterfall mini album as a class next month. Email me if you are wanting to attend (see sidebar).

For locals Jenn is teaching it for our Christmas Extravaganza in October at the Art Society rooms in Whakatane.

Righto Im off to eat my brekkie that my DH has cooked for me..whitebait fritters..yum!! These are my first for the season but looks as though they are starting to run and DH will be out catching some more..lucky me!
