Tsunami condolences

to all those who are affected by the Samoa Tsunami …its unreal isnt it?

It was unreal getting the Tsunami warning here in Whakatane as well ..some people panicked, some went down to the beach to see the waves ..how stupid is that? and some like me just cruised as I knew it was likely just to be a 1 metre wave and I live a fair way inland so not to be that affected. I did have to go into town at that time ..see below about that!

If you know someone affected ..send them a card made by you. As one who has been in a serious flood and lost livelihood and possessions a card and choccie is really appreciated at this time.

I was about to teach a Holiday programme doing this but as all of the kids were evacuated ..it was cancelled.

On Saturday I am holding a WCMD event with Patrice and Bev at Rotorua. I am teaching my Waterfall mini album and Bev and Patrice are teaching 4 Christmas cards. You can just turn up fro 1-4 (4 pm is the last sitting) and make them or my mini album (3.30 is the last sitting) but you need to email me if you want to attend (so we can get a kit ready for you!)

I am also in creative mode for a wedding expo on Sunday here in Whakatane. Its at the Ohope Golf Club and heres a fun hens night card i did up today!Ive used Pink Flamingo DSP, a flower from the pretties kit, Cheers to you stamp and For the bride stamp. Ive used a trio of flowers punch too. My DD (12) was most impressed and did one up for her friend too. Just a bit fun amongst all the formal invites Ive done. Will post them over the next few days.
