10 minute Stampaholic Saturday

What a horrible rainy day today! Our farm is flooding at the moment so Im hoping we dont get too much more rain or our poor cows will be swimming to find the grass! We are expecting another 100 mls overnight so we will be nervously eyeing the river stopbank as the river is up very high too. So sorry my card is not taken in good light but it was the best I could do.

Anyway I digress..this week Carole’Anne gave us a colour combo to use ..I dont have Poppy Parade or Early Expresso yet (which are two of the new colours in the next catalogue on 1st September)  So what to do? I used real red and soft suede together and kind of smooshed them together ..Heres the emboss resist card I made and the colour I picked to use was Baja breeze ..which was a suprise as I wasnt sure these colours would go together but I think they do ..do you?

These are new stamps of mine and are in the new catalogue! The stamps are called Friends never fade and the embossing is using my new embossing folder Vintage wallpaper.. I love it to bits!

This card took me eight minutes from get go and I have even got leftovers to do another card.

Hope you come and play along with the challenge this week….just link your submission on Carole’annes blog here and while your at it check out what the other DT have done with this colour combo!

Oh wow – stunning ! (When is your work NOT though?) I hope the rain subsides for you soon, but not before you get a little more relaxing in, you deserve it. 🙂 xx Amanda
