This week Lesley Croghan has given us an awesome sketch to work with ..Thanks Lesley!
I had lots of fun this week ..the card took me 20 minutes to complete but thats because I was admiring the effect of emboss resist on DSP! Lol
Heres my card.
Ive used Baja breeze as the base card, some new DSP coming in the new catalogue which is called Greenhouse Gala and clear embossed Friends forever (new stamps coming). Then taking my brayer, I solid brayered Chocolate Chip over the embossed DSP ..very fun technique!!
I cut out the flower twice and popped them up with a dimensional and a crochet flower.
The greeting is a quote from the level three Occasional Quotes which I love and tend to live by that philosphy.
So go and check out what the other Design Team have been up to over on Carole’Annes blog here and hope you play along with us this week!
Righto Im off to have Brunch (10am here) with my Hubby and daughter after milking the cows, feeding the calves and picking up the new calves ..half my day is over already as been up since 4am and Im STARVING!
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
wow, I love this card. First I love the layered flower, nice to get the texture of the crochet flower in between, and then your resist technique is absolutely stunning. WOW, you really outdid yourself on this one Delys

Love how you tucked the little white flower in there. Did you crochet that yourself? LOL (ok, I know it’s in the catty, but I couldn’t resist). Beautiful job!
