Hi Ive been on a mini holiday over to Brisbane to catch up with some girlfriends. We get together every year and this year was our 10 year anniversary of doing so. We had a blast!
This weeks theme at Just Add Ink is Birthdays! Easy peasy so go and enter this week!
Heres mine using Sweet and Sour Specialty DSP. Very bright and yummy papers in this DSP!
Ive used Crazy for Cupcakes and Perfect Punches stamp sets here. I just paper pieced the cupcake and added some pearls for the cachous (sp) (you know those yummy edible silver lollies?)
Im busy at the moment getting ready for some Extravaganzas coming up.
Next week is Rotorua and the following week is Tauranga. Whakatane and Gisborne are late November and early December but check out my other page on that and let me know if you are interested in attending.
Love this card Delys and those Basic Pearls make me think of those edible hard sprinkles (don’t know what they are called).

Gorgeous! Such ‘yummy’ colours for a cupcake card, and yep, you spelled cachous right! Your Brisbane holiday sounds like a blast; what a great thing to do.

Wow, very cool that you and a group of girlfriends catch up every year. Sounds so fun.
Love your card, it is THE perfect birthday card.
You’ve convinced me I need to get the Sweet & Sour Specialty paper – when I first saw it I thought I could live without it, hmmmm nope I can’t.

This is so ‘delicious’! I was originally going to use the very same stamped image and paper piece it to make a card but there were not enough hours in the day last week – then I saw your gorgeous submission for the week and went ‘snap’ – great minds think alike!! I’ve yet to ink this brand new set (for me at least) and now you’ve given me some extra inspiration. TFS.

Hi Delys,
oh wow this just so bright and fun – its jumping up and down saying “happy birthday” 😉 I really like how you tucked the sentiment in behind the cupcake, and that big bow and the pearls – just yummy!
