Cards for Christchurch

Ive just posted this on the Just Add Ink Blog…Hope you can all help. If you are in one of my classes and want to give your cards to me to send down you can send it to me. I will be posting cards every week.

Its been a terrible twenty four hours for Christchurch, New Zealand with a 6.3 Earthquake that has flattened the city and caused a tremendous loss of life, 100s of people who are injured..some severely, people who have no house, possessions or any way of contacting their loved ones.
Our heart and prayers go out to these people affected. We hope and pray that there will be more survivors. Know that we want to help in any way possible.

The whole of the Design Team (some who have family and friends in Christchurch) want to do something and this is what we have come up with…
Victim Support are a group afiliated with the NZ police force and are trained in dealing everyday with adversity, helping and supporting people in need.
We thought they would appreciate some cards that they could write on and to take to victims of this devasting quake.
If you would like to do the same then you can send a homemade card (blank inside with envelope if possible) to

Victim Support
PO Box 2109
Christchurch
New Zealand

Thinking of you, Get well soon, with sympathy or just a plain blank card would be appreciated Im sure.
Kia Kaha Christchurch we are all thinking of you.

Hi All, My thoughts and my prayers are with you all at this time. It must be terrible to go through this earthquake. My daughter has a friend in Christchurch and she is
ok. She is a school teacher and was in the playground with the children when the earthquake hit. Now she is home from school waiting to hear when they will return.
She is safe she Gods protection was over her. Schools are closed at the moment. I am pleased that the SU Demonstrators are safe.
