Wow the weeks are just flying by ..busy as a bee here but managed to get this card off to Bronwyn Eastley for her Birthday a few weeks ago. I thought it was apt that Bron gave us the sketch for Just Add Ink #86
Heres what I came up with using Timeless Portrait. I sponged into my petals a plenty embossing folder with cherry cobbler and then embossed it. The doilies are from Flirtacious Specialty which I sponged in Cherry Cobbler on the white side. Added a ribbon and a very cool little trinket crown. They just add that extra little detail. I used my simple letters alphabet to cut out the ‘b’ and stamps used were Delicate Doilies and Curly Cute. Inside I used Bring on the Cake stamp set to stamp the greeting.
So hope you play along with us this week at Just Add Ink. Check out the fabulous Design Team samples here
BTW if you are wondering where Paula is? She is having a wee break from JAI.
It looks even more spectacular in real life especially with that cute trinket. There’s so much detail in this beautiful card, Delys. I love it. Thanks so much for actually remembering my birthday which is more than I did for you. (Slaps wrist and sighs!!) A catch up card is winging its way to you as I type. Have a good weekend!

I know the birthday girl loved this card – it’s got some many yummy things to look at – I love the “B” – I always forget to add someone’s initial into the card like you have!

Gorgeous! Love anything that has been personalised, and love Cherry Cobbler, so this ticks lots of boxes. The details are beautiful, Delys. What a great idea, sponging the doilies (hadn’t occurred to me – duh). Will borrow that idea!

So much detail and layering here Delys. Love the little dollies stamped as the border beneath the sentiment. A very special card for a friend.

The “b” looks fantastic Delys. I had thought it was “b” for birthday, but it’s for Bronwyn is it? The crown is a gorgeous touch!
