This month its our third scrapbooking challenge and this month it is
Just Add Altered Art
Altered art is taking something from everyday life or just plain and unembellished items and turning them into art
(in this case scrapbooking art)
And heres my altered art..an altered Kaiser frame that I made for my Aunties 60th Birthday recently.
I painted the frame (purposely missing bits here and there to get an aged look) and used Spice Cake DSP to decorate. The wooden frames were sprayed with log cabin smooch spritz. Ive used bakers twine, pearls, spice cake fabric, velvet ribbon, antique brad and vintage tag to decorate and the stamps Ive used is For My Family. heres a close up.
So Hope you come and play with us this month at Just Add Ink.
