Just Add the date -scrapbooking challenge

This month for our scrapbooking challenge, Im challenging you to just add the date! It can be a feature or as a supporting text on your LO.

I often put dates on my LOs because I have albums and albums of LOs ..and I dont scrap photos in chronological order. A few of my earlier LOs..Im going ‘What year was that?’

So here is my LO. This is an emboss resist LO with re inkers and water. I used a mask with my versamark and a dauber to apply it..then I sprinkled over my white embossing powder.  The Chipboard ..I think is from Twiddlybitz and unsure of the make of the title rubon.. I love the toon town stickers ..they are by Lillybee Designs.  The Date is added in MDS. Delys scrap #24I actually printed it onto a window sheet and adhered it under the photo..and then I wasnt happy with the look so I have edited it to brush out the edges (cheat! lol)

Hope you can play along with us at Just Add Ink. You can see what Ruthy and Tina have done here

Hi Sharnee..thanks! The background is pre gessoed so this would also work well on a canvas. Then I embossed the dots with white embossing powder. After that, you mist with water and put drops of reinker where you want and let them run this way and that by tilting your page..sometimes remisting as desired. Have fun!
