This week at Just Add Ink we have a Colour Challenge courtesy of Nikki Spencer.
I struggled a little with these colours until I went with Pistachio Pudding as my main colour.
Heres what I came up with… a simple layout of our Daughter off to her first day of her last year of High School..man!.. has that time flown! I cried when she went to Primary School as she is the youngest…And will cry when she leaves school! The title is a bit of a misnomer as she hasn’t left yet, but, I wanted to convey how Hubby and I will be enjoying/relishing her last year at home and will miss her when she goes to uni. Here’s a closeup.
The gold vellum fit the bill perfectly for this challenge along with some of the new Bakers twine. Ive used both the banner framelits and the cute banner punch for this LO. Ive added a few pearls around the place and some crumb cake washi. The title? This was made using one of the stamps out of the Just Sayin’ stamp set and using my marker to then stamp on to a Retro Fresh Designer journalling tag..I love to use these journalling tags! I used my score tool to make a frame. The Unlike is from the Make note rotary stamp ..I just added the ‘un’ with my crumb cake marker.
So hope you all come and play with us at Just Add Ink this week..do check out what the rest of the Design team have done here.
Happy Crafting!

Gorgeous layout of your daughter Delys. The sweet banners and gold touches dress up but don’t overwhelm those great photos. Love the scored frame too! xxx
