Just Add A Sunburst Challenge

Tina came up with our challenge this week at Just Add Ink, to use a sunburst on your card or scrapbook layout.. Well there is some pretty spectacular sunburst creations by the Design Team this week..check them out here

Heres mine..IMG_6407-001 I used the lovely and bright Kaleidoscope DSP for this card and the Banner Framelit bundle. Like my card earlier this week, Ive done some scoring down the bottom as a feature.  The starburst is using the Starburst framelit and cutting some of it out. I probably should have done that a bit more even but I liked the randomness of it in the end so stuck with it. I’m most impressed with how my little twine bow turned out ..usually it takes me a few goes at it but this time I managed to tie it nicely first time! Bonus!

Inside, Ive used The Blessed Easter stamp and Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  This card has gone to a fellow demonstrator in Aussie who has just had surgery. IMG_6409-001So I hope you come and play with us this week. I cant wait to see what you come up with for this challenge.

A lovely way to send some sunshine to a sick friend Delys. I love the randomness of your sunburst. I also like the scoring kick you are on at the moment. I never think to use scoring as a feature on my projects!

Delys I love the cheery DSP you chose as your background because it allows the sunburst to shine and put the focus on your cheerful message. A great uplifting card for someone recovering from surgery.

Delys this is such a bright and cheery card and I’m sure the recipient will love it. I love the scoring at the bottom of the card, it adds some nice detail.
