Yep Mary Poppins..Ive just recently seen Saving Mr Banks and it immediately made me want to see Mary Poppins again. It was a great movie and I enjoyed it immensely with my BFFs recently. Sad and Funny.
Anyway, shift along a couple of weeks and Daughter is going to an ‘M’ Birthday party as the birthday girls name started with ‘M’. First off she thought of Minnie Mouse..but someone else snapped up that idea quick smart (and ended up not going ..oops!) so the brain went into gear until she was scrolling through google search and I said what about Mary Poppins? Well, she ran with that idea. Her friend came over for the day to shop and get ready for the party (that will be another Layout)
Heres what I did using the photoshoot of our Daughter. A shabby chic styled LO which I enjoyed making. Lots of products on this one of which I will list at the end. Heres the journalling and closeup of some of the embellishments.
A couple of mentions here, I have used the new petite flower punch (which is super cute), the flower spiral die (with some blue foam -non SU), and the saleabration sweet sorbet embellishment kit of which Ive just coloured with my marker. Ive also coloured the new wooden embellishments this way too. Where it says March 2014, is a hidden mini album of photos. As most of my Scrapbooking class attendees know, I often slit the side of my page protector so you can pull out these interactive bits of my LO.
