Hope you all had a lovely Easter! Me? I was sick but still milked the cows and worked at the hospital (was feeling better then) over the Easter break. I didn’t do much crafting unfortunately ..but at least I will get lots next weekend at a scrapbooking retreat!
Lots of layers on this card. I saw this neat idea on pinterest on how to get a border easily with a punch (rather than free draw) …I saw this video (2 minute Technique) by Wendy Cranford and thought ..why didn’t I think of that before? lol..clever idea!
I inked up the Hardwood Stamp and the Hip Notes Stamp set for this card and used Retro fresh DSP along with some Very Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon..which I made into a double bow.
Here’s the inside ..I used the gorgeous and one of my fave stamp sets from or this Occasions Catalogue ..Just sayin’. If you are a scrapbooker and/ or Project life style creator then this stamp set comes with a matching framelit die. Yummo! I sponged everything with Soft Suede as it was on my desk and couldnt find my baked brown sugar ink pad (in a box somewhere lol)
