Tin of Cards for My Mum.

Happy Mothers Day for yesterday for all those Mums here and gone. I gave my Mum a tin filled with my cards for Mothers Day and had a wonderful day with her (took her out to lunch).

She was also down for the start of our Daughters debut as Magnolia in Theatre Whakatanes Cats. OMG, what a fab show! It runs until May 24th, so if you are local (or even Rotorua or Tauranga) then get your tickets from iTicket!  Lots of people are saying it is just as good as the professional shows in Melbourne and UK! I agree but I’m probably biased!

Hubby and I have seen it twice so far and plan on seeing it again at least once!

You’ll be seeing some Layouts with photos from the show so watch this space in the next few weeks..itching to get my hands on some of the professional photos from Mike Geddes (awesome photographer).

Also wanted to show you this card..one of the oops cards from last weeks Just Add Inks Sketch Challenge. Yep did the diagonals the wrong way ..and while that is still cool, I wanted my card to be the traditional sketch.

Deets on this card- I used the silver foil sheets, Silver vellum, Cherry Cobbler ink and candy dots, Smoky slate CS and candy dots, Hounds-tooth embossing folder, Whisper White CS, Just sayin’ stamps and matching framelit and Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Was a bit chuffed to do a masculine card for a change as I sometimes struggle with those!

Righto off to make some swaps for next week as I’m off to the South Pacific Stampin’ Up! Convention in Melbourne…I’m so excited to be catching up with all my Stamping friends.
