This week at Just Add Ink we have a challenge from Paula to use watercolouring.
I’m not the best at this but I try and try ..but Ive gone the easy route this week and gone for a watercolour wash. (I’m chicken right? lol)
Here’s my card!
Ive used a few new 2014/2015 stamp sets that I got at the Inspire Create Share Convention held recently in Melbourne.
The front panel is on watercolour paper, of which, I embossed ‘I love Lace’ background stamp with a smoky slate embossing powder.
Love how that turned out ..almost like a mesh!
Ive used a few drops of Coastal Cabana reinker in water in my aquabrush and coloured over the embossed panel. When dry, I then stamped in ‘Kinda Eclectic’ and ‘Hello There’ (hostess set).. I stamped in Memento Black and heat set it ..I love Memento Black for its vibrant black finish.
This card is for our new workers on the farm ..they arrive from the deep South on Sunday so this card has gone in a bucket of goodies for them..(not showing as they might be looking)

I nearly spoke to you at convention Delys, but ended up losing my nerve. LOVE to bits what you’ve done on this card, colours are great, the leaves around the edges and you’ve sold me on the lacy stamp, just have to wait for July 1st to order it. Like your last comment, I came from Hamilton too (42 years ago!!)

Aww Rachel I dont bite and next time you need to come up and say hi okay? I grew up in Ngaruawahia so Im a mooloo girl too. Yep love the I love Lace stamp set..used it today again too…def put it on your order in July! Lucky me got it for free at the managers dinner along with one gorgeous shawl..totally spoilt!
