A new Challenge site is up in running this week and as I have a few friends as designers, I thought Id play along this week as well.
Heres the colour combo for this week at Global Design Project
And here’s what I came up with using mainly Christmas stamps! I love to get other card themes from my stamp sets!
Firstly I brayered my background, I used Happy Scenes (139821) for the tree and Holly Jolly Greetings (139879) for Peace, comfort and love. I haven’t had my brayer out for a while now!
The crosses are from the new Festive Flower Builder punch.
Hearth and Home window (139666) got another work out and is popped up on Dimensionals.
I made the curtains using Cottage Greetings (139962) of which I coloured in with my Stampin Write markers and a few scores to make the pleats.
The old faithful Teeny Tiny Sentiments (130042) for the sympathy sentiment to finish. The Corrugated paper (138317) was my ‘wall paper’ as such. Heck I love that paper! So do check out the designers blogs ..one incredible line up of talent that’s for sure!
Righto back to finishing 33 swaps!

Are you kidding?!! I would never have thought to (A) Use christmas stamps or (B) that colour combination for a sympathy card, but you certainly made it work. I am so happy you could join in our first challenge at Global Design Project ♥
What a gorgeous way to use these stamps and dies, Delys! The printed curtains are brilliant! I’m sure this card will bring great comfort to its recipient. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project color challenge!
Delys, Those curtains are fantastic and I love the corrugated cardstock as wallpaper. You made quite the scene. Thanks for joining us at Global Design Project.
You always blow me away with your talent Delys! The curtains are genius and I love the warm sun effect coming through the window, perfect as a sympathy card. Thank you soooo much for supporting our very first Global Design Project, hopefully we see more of your amazing creations?! Louise xo
Thank you for playing along with our first challenge Delys. Really clever card. The curtains are very clever and the sentiment showing through the window is so different and looks great. Thank you so much for playing along with our FIRST Global Design Project challenge!
What’s not to love about this amazing card? As usual, you’ve used all sorts of textures and layers and it all works together so beautifully. Thanks for playing along at GDP!
Goodness me! How clever are YOU. I LOVE the fact you stamped the cutest curtains. You always think outside the square.
Just an adorable card and a lovely thoughtful sentiment which I am sure will be much appreciated x
