A new Challenge site is up in running this week and as I have a few friends as designers, I thought Id play along this week as well.
Heres the colour combo for this week at Global Design Project
And here’s what I came up with using mainly Christmas stamps! I love to get other card themes from my stamp sets!
Firstly I brayered my background, I used Happy Scenes (139821) for the tree and Holly Jolly Greetings (139879) for Peace, comfort and love. I haven’t had my brayer out for a while now!
The crosses are from the new Festive Flower Builder punch.
Hearth and Home window (139666) got another work out and is popped up on Dimensionals.
I made the curtains using Cottage Greetings (139962) of which I coloured in with my Stampin Write markers and a few scores to make the pleats.
The old faithful Teeny Tiny Sentiments (130042) for the sympathy sentiment to finish. The Corrugated paper (138317) was my ‘wall paper’ as such. Heck I love that paper! So do check out the designers blogs ..one incredible line up of talent that’s for sure!
Righto back to finishing 33 swaps!
Are you kidding?!! I would never have thought to (A) Use christmas stamps or (B) that colour combination for a sympathy card, but you certainly made it work. I am so happy you could join in our first challenge at Global Design Project ♥
