I had a little epiphany on Saturday morning making this card while I was waiting for my Sister.
I pulled out a Spider Web Doily (139622) and thought what can I do with these since I dont really do a lot of Halloween projects!
Well this is what I came up with using the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Pack (139594). It reminded me of stained glass at a cathedral!
I added some gold metallic thread (138401) and a Metal Rimmed Pearl (138394) of which I coloured with a green sharpie marker. I opted not to put a sentiment on the front.
Here you can see how I did the insides. I cut two ovals out using the Oval Collection Framelits (129381) ..on both front and back. I added the doily and then the velum over the top. I coloured the vellum from the back with my Stampin’ Write Markers and adhered it over the top.
On the inside I added the sentiment using Teeny Tiny Sentiments and on the back added more vellum. This card was perfect for a sympathy card I thought!
Have a lovely week..wet and raining here but perfect for crafting. This weeks plan is to do more kids cards for my Sisters workplace. She is fundraising for puppy blankets at her dog pound.
