We have a new medium available in our new Occasions Catalogue (pg 26) called Brusho. Its fab-u- lous and I love it!
I’ve been playing with it all alot and will be sharing some cards/projects with you over the next couple of weeks and more after a stampcamp that I’m teaching at ..later in February.
So what is Brusho? It is watercolour ink crystals and comes in 5 colours currently from Stampin’ Up! One pottle will last a considerable time. Just pierce the cap with a push pin to make a hole and store in a box with either the pin in the hole or use a silica gel or moisture grabber in there. All you have to do is spritz with water and voila..the magic appears
Today, I’m showing you my Epic Celebrations card with a brick wall background I made with Gamboge and Yellow Brusho. The sneakers and guitar I coloured with my blends.
Here’s the inside.
I used Glossy card stock for this card. Made my background. Then with a stencil I sprinkled brusho over the top, spritzed with water and laid it over the background. Once dried, I sanded my cardstock back so achieve this weathered look.
Thanks for looking!
