Graduation Time

Recently our Daughter graduated from University with a Bachelor of Dance Studies!  I dont CASE very often but saw this idea on pinterest and just had to make this card for our Daughter.

I used the Beautiful You stamp set (143637) of which I stamped twice..one for the background and coloured in the legs and ground and the second for the gown/body and hands.

I snipped off the hat and coloured it with my Bermuda Bay Blendie to make the hood of the gown.

The second image I coloured with my BB Blendie around the edges and used a sharpie marker to colour in the image (our Basic Black marker would do the same thing..it was just what was on my table at the time!)

The hat was just a square of black cardstock. The scroll was a small piece of whisper white that I rolled up. I used some BB striped chevron ribbon to make the tassle (pulled it apart) and adhered with a glue dot. I added another dot of black over the top of it to cover the edges.

The sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases (141534) and Jennifer..the new Make a Difference stamp set (146676-$57) ..which you can order this month with the Share what you Love promotion.

I will be doing more of these cards as you see, shes not finished with university and doing her Honours year this year and following it with a Teaching Diploma so another 2 graduation cards are on the horizon!

If you are in New Zealand and dont have a demonstrator..let me know if you would like a brand new Catalogue sent to you!  You can email me or message me on my Facebook page to order! (Details on the sidebar)

Happy Stamping!
