Bordered Sentiments Technique

stamping techniques 101

Hello ..I’m hopping along again today with our Stamping Techniques 101 Design Team.

This month it is Bordered Sentiments Technique.

You can see a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers here on how to do this technique.

My first attempt at this technique was in a bit of a rush ..I used masking tape and ..well it didn’t end well so I binned it! That failure sparked my next idea though! I went with a partial bordered sentiment.

So my tips are use washi tape/low tack tape or a thin strip of post it notes for this technique (I used post it notes)

I saw a few cards with flowers for this technique ..so I challenged myself to use other stamps instead.

Bordered sentiment

I kept this clean and simple.

Products I used were- Animal Outing (146600), Crumb Cake Combo Blends (144601), Smoky Slate Light Blend (145054), Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker (100082), Ruler, Stamparatus (148187), Crumb Cake/Whisper White and Whisper White Thick Cardstocks.

So check out what the other Design Team Members have done with this technique!
