Shabby Chic Crate

A friend of mine mentioned that she would love some tags for gifts so set me to work to come up with some for her.

I made the tags using the Colour Your Season promotion products and then thought they looked a little Shabby Chic and maybe some packaging in that style would go well with them?

Here’s what I came up with..it reminds me of decoupaged crates you see in Antique shops (a favourite pastime of mine!)

I used the new watercolour pencils for this project.

There are 10 new colours and these pencils may be in another publication ..but why wait? Get them this month!

I stamped in Sahara Sand onto Shimmery white and watercoloured with Granny Apple Green,  Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and an original colour ..Daffodil Delight.

The Wood Crate is part of the Wood Crate Framelit dies (pg 221 AC)

I hope she likes them!

Oh of course I’m going to pop some chocolate in there too ..as I know she has a sweet tooth! I might just have to check that the chocolate is perfect first…
