If you haven’t heard of us before, we are a Facebook group using Stampin’ Up! products. With over 4,000 members… there is lots of inspiration to see!

This Months Blog Hop theme is courtesy of one of our Guest Design Team Members Eimear Carvill -Love and Marriage.

Here’s my Layout of my Parents wedding. I have used just a little DSP for this LO and just used stamps, dies and the Lace Embossing Folder.

These photos were in a major flood. The things you find out when you go through a major flood and your photos are affected are..

1. Pull them out of the album and put them in between some greaseproof paper and pop them into a freezer until you are ready to sort them out.
2. Wash the photos gently in water and dry flat. You may need some heavy items to keep them flat.
3. Photograph or scan them in if damaged and edit if needed or possible.
4. Even if the flood waters have not damaged the photos, the moisture may encourage mould so it is important to air/wipe the photos.

The thing that I discovered during this whole process is that any pen on the back of the photos comes through to the other side. So, if you write on your photos….do it in pencil! A lot of the ones we had that were in pencil were perfect and the pen ones (like the ones I’ve used above) were not.

I am still using these!

I have a hidden journalling piece under the largest photo of my Mum.

Materials I used were: Stamps;  Flowering Fountain (OC pg 41), Artisan Textures (AC pg 130). Bigshot; Well Written Framelit dies (OC pg 27), Support Ribbon Framelits (AC pg 220, Foliage Frame Framelits (AC pg 217), Lace Embossing Folder (OC pg 11). Embellishments; Frames Elements (AC pg 199), Braided Linen Thread (OC pg 55). Paper/ink/cardstock; Crumb cake, Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper (AC pg 189) ..one is cut up to achieve the leaves down the side.
