Simple Stamping Techniques-Easel Card

Wow I have been busy with blog post after blog post lately.

This month the Simple Stamping Techniques Design Team are playing with Easel cards.

Now I needed a couple of customer gifts so I made these little easel cards using some Memories and More packs…first I used the Big Plans Card Pack (pg 196 AC 146863). I have just loved this kit. I did no stamping …all of the sticker elements were easy to layer and on a couple I mounted them onto each other or onto another card from the pack and cut out using punches or my trimmer…so this might be an idea for someone new to card making!

The other one I used was the Tea Room Memories and More Cards pack (pg 195 AC 147035) This coordinates with the Tea Room Suite on pages 14-15). For this project, I used the Treat Time set (pg 35 AC 146626) for all of the stamping and then embellished with the stickers in the pack. So quick and easy to do!

The cards are 4×6″ so all you need to do is score them at 1 1/2″ and 3″…fold over! Add another 3×4″ card to the first 1 1/2″ panel and voila your easel card is done.

All I did then was add a stopper down the bottom and I was done.

The envelopes are just half cut down normal Whisper White envelopes which I decorated. You could also make your own envelopes for these using the envelope punch board (pg 209 AC).

I tied them all up with some coordinating ribbon and popped them into a Half wide stamp case (pg 206 AC 127552). I love these cases for storage of a huge range of accessories…eg reinkers and embellishments.

Here’s a few more pics of the easel cards.

Happy Stamping!
