Scrapbooking Global October Blog Hop

This month it is my theme of Seeing Double!

I actually struggle to do double layouts so this is a challenge for me especially but also because I am often asked to teach double layouts.

So, this blog hop is to give us all some inspiration along the way! Cant wait to see what everyone comes up with!

So here is what Ive come up with.

This Layout is all ready for me to put my photos in as the event hasnt happened yet (will happen this Saturday) when my Mum, Sister and Daughter drive 3 1/2 hours to affix a plaque to my Aunties grave who died as child. The grave was unmarked and we werent sure where she was until earlier this year.

I have used a Designer Series Paper that will be for sale next month and is called Christmastime is here Specialty DSP.

This left hand side is actually a challenge sketch LO that I have put up on Scrapbooking Global for the month of October. I just added another page to it to create my double LO.

I have also used Shimmer Detailed Laser cut Paper (AC pg 169), Simmery White Emboossing Paste (AC pg 181), Ornate Frame dies (HC pg 53), Basic Pattern decorative masks (HC pg 35) and the beautiful ribbon is Real Red Ruched ribbon (HC pg 7) The title dies are Hand Lettered Prose (AC pg 193) and Word Wishes (AC pg 197)

Now off we go on our blog hop. Even though I have done a double LO, I have left it open to interpretation as the theme of Seeing Double.

Beautiful! Although tagged as a Christmas DSP, I think those roses are much to beautiful to keep for just Christmas! Like the added touch of the embossing paste too! Awesome work!
