Here’s my take on the theme.

I used the Positive Thoughts Stamp set (Mini Catalogue pg 23 151490) and the matching dies (153586) which you can now purchase separately now (until the end of March 2020)

The colours I used for this card were Old Olive and Lovely Lipstick.

I love to think outside the square with stamps and this just showcases that you can make other flowers out of the tulip stamp set. I think this still looks like a tulip but a Peony Tulip? What do you think?

Peaceful Poppies Suite

Ive been quiet on here lately partly because of work but also because Ive been making samples for our Creative Inkers Annual Stamp Camp of which I presented the Peaceful Poppies Suite (153938)

That was last weekend and 60 of us had an absolute blast from Friday Night until Sunday afternoon!

So I will be showcasing this suite over the next week so check back often on what I shared to my fellow wider team members.

This was their Make n Take after the presentation.

I diecut everything for them all they had to do was emboss with the Coastal Weave Embossing folder and punch out the 3rd flower with the Sale a bration Small Bloom Punch which you can get if you place a $220 order. This whole bundle which is on Page 25 of the Mini Catalogue is $288 and includes everything on this page! So you could get this punch for free.

The pot or planter was a pouch and included a small bag of Poppy Seeds for everyones garden. It is all attached to a popsicle stick which some inserted into the Pool Party pouch and fixed it in and others made it removeable.

I also showcased a paper poppy I made using both Bundles.

This is a make n take for a craft group I go to this week in Papamoa.

Its a badge they can make and wear for Anzac Day. Its a gold coin donation to make it and we will donate the money to the RSA (Returned Services Association) to help veterans. Let me know if you are interested in the group…we meet every Thursday and everyone does their own thing from papercraft, embroidery, knitting, crotchet, patchwork or just colouring in.

Heres what I came up with scrapbooking our Daughters first day at school as a High School teacher! Its taken five years of study to get to this day and we are incredibly proud of our Daughter.

I’ll be really interested to know where this challenge has taken everyone on the blog hop because it can have a wide scope of possibilities in the subject I reckon!

Heres my take on the challenge.

I’ve scrapbooked photos of my corn in my garden. Ive developed a passion for raising my own vegetables from seed and my horde of seeds is growing just as fast as my scrapbooking supplies!

Happy New Year!

Our Stamping Society monthly tutorial is now live!

This month we are showcasing the Peaceful Moments and/or the Painted Poppies Bundles! These products are available in our January to June Mini Catalogue. (Starts 3 June).

This Mini pizza box and card was for My Sisters Birthday a few days ago.

This month our theme is courtesy of Design Team Member Sara Levin and is a Holiday Theme

This theme could be about Christmas or any general holiday.

Here is my Double Layout showing a holiday that my Husband and I did earlier this year.

We spent a week heading around the East Coast of New Zealand.

This area is not far from where we live but I haven’t been in parts of the East Coast since I was little.

I think we take our own country for granted and dont see all of it so it was a special trip that we both enjoyed.

You can do this drive in one day but we spent the time relaxing and exploring the whole area.

What was extra special about this trip is that Hubby and I found a long lost unmarked family grave so My Mum, Sister, Daughter and I had to head back around there a couple of months ago with a plaque for her grave.

A special time.

I have made these that they can be stand a lone Layouts or next to each other as a double in my album.

For these pages, I used Whisper White 12 x12 Cardstock,Black Cardstock, Bird Ballad DSP, Shimmer Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper, Friendly Silhouette Dies, Hand Lettered Prose Dies, Merry Christmas Dies and White Bakers Twine
