Hi and welcome to my first blog hop with Scrapbooking Sunday Blog Hop team.
This months Theme is “Firsts”
Going through my photos I saw heaps of possibilities..My first day at High school, Sons first day at cub scouts and our first trip to Te Papa Museum in Wellington.
But I chose these photos as I had more than one photo ..and Im on a mission to scrapbook more than one photo at the moment!
So here’s a LO of our daughters successes at swimming.
The DSP (Designer Series Paper) I used is a Christmas one. But ..this is where I love Stampin’ Up! DSP as they are almost always versatile where you can use it for any occasion! You cant really see but I had lots of fun with the new but old shimmer paint. I used it on the tin tile folder Night of Navy piece and also used it over the rest of the LO using it with a scrunched up piece of gladwrap.
I also have a bit of hidden journalling on a tag (the galvanised clip at the top)..which is on the back of my LO. Hidden, because its about this time she started getting bullied at school. Showing, that its quite okay to have hidden journalling..where you dont want everyone looking online / class attendees seeing personal and raw journalling.
All of my family know to check the back of my LOs!
Here’s the back of my Layout. I teach this aspect often as well! To save on cost for a LO and get the most out of your cardstock and DSP.
Materials I used were; AC: Lined Alphabet (145908), Postcard Pals (146701), Neutrals 12×12 CS (147003), Under the Mistletoe DSP(146921), Frames Elements (146906), Metallic Brads (146929). HC: Festive Farmhouse Elements (147890), Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (147044), Braided Linen Trim (147808), Chicken Wire Elements (147807), Galvanised Clips (147806) and the Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing Folder (147906)
Here’s the link for the next blog hop.
Happy Scrapbooking on your Sunday!
AWESOME job with multiple photos Delys!!! Is that your new printer photos??
I got my photo paper too.. YAY!!!
Good hint about the hidden journalling and of course you are thrifty like me and cut away the backing so not to waste all that beautiful paper.
Cheers Shaz
