Scrapbooking Global June Blog Hop-Birthdays and Parties

Another month has passed and today is our Scrapbooking Global June Blog Hop! Wow the months are going by fast!!

This month our theme is Birthdays and Parties. Theme courtesy of guest designer Marga Bultena.

Well I went hunting through my photos and found these gems ..our daughters 5th Birthday!

I was just starting to scrapbook (and decorate cakes) when she was 5 (she is now 22) so I have kept this Layout pretty simple.

This sort of Layout is called colour blocking and is a great beginner style Layout.

I used the new In Color 6×6 DSP stack (149617), Stitched Lace Dies (149625), Well Written Dies (148534) and the stamp set I used was Daisy Lane (149325)

I also did a Memories and More pocket page. I still have to do some journalling to finish this off. (Names of kids attending mainly)

Gee I was pretty proud of that cake! Hehehe.
