Been AWOL

But had a death in the family..been a long drawn out affair.

Anyway..I have been creating with the fab Occasions Catalogue ..Ive just recently taught at a wider team event recently and my theme was a vintage theme.

I just love vintage! I do other styles too but do love a vintage card or Scrapbooking LO.

Here is the first project Im showing using the Vertical Garden Project Kit tray and ribbon. The rest I used as accents for boxes at a local market I have coming up.

tray

I used Kraft 12 x 12 CS for this project and a lot of stamps and dies from the new Occasions Catalogue.

What I love about these events ..is that we are one big family and its a chance to inspire others so I hope Ive done that with this and my other samples (check back to see more!)

I have a team of 20+ demonstrators in New Zealand and would love to share our close team with more crafty ladies so if you are looking for a close knit team with Stampin’ Up! Then contact me for more details on signing up at cramfamily@xtra.co.nz. Saleabration is the perfect time to sign up to be a Demonstrator as you get more freebies in an already awesome and custom built kit. This extra promotion ends 31st March 2017

Creating up a Storm!

Fist pump..YES! .. After Christmas, I’ve had some time to create with some new goodies from the Occasions Catalogue and Saleabration Catalogue ..which go live on the 4th January!

Here’s what I’ve been making…

display-stamper-projects-2017

First up is actually a White gift box from our Holiday Catalogue (142000) which is returning for this catalogue..which is just as well as had only used one of them for my Christmas markets. I am doing a few markets now and often get asked for masculine/boy boxes etc ..so I came up with this ..a rubik cube!

So pleased how this turned out!  I haven’t worked out what I’m putting in this box yet ..got any ideas for me?

img_6820-001

Next up ..another 3D project and using the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Paper stack, Pyramid Pals and the Popcorn box Thinlits.

My little Circus tent!

I absolutely adore this 6×6 Paper stack and is my sort of colours I love to covet in my stash hehehe..

I’ve filled the top with fairy/candy floss and the bottom with gobstopper lollies/candy. I get to eat the rest ..or make some more circus tents..

I’ve used the coordinating embellishment kit on this item and some of the following creations. All I need is some circus animals!

img_6837-001

A scrapbook Layout I made…I just love the Lace Doilies and have used up all 24 in the pack already and I’ve ordered 2 more packs!

I am busy making a project for my Sister for her Birthday (which has passed BTW but she understands lol) and I’m using ALL of the Urban Underground Specialty DSP ..but had some scraps leftover …

This LO is a tribute to George Michael with the title but it was so apt with what our daughter was going through at that age….girls and boys can be vicious these days and it was a learning curve for us all to deal with the negative. I’ve recycled a SU backing board for the background for this LO as just love the texture. I plan on teaching this as a class but using Kraft 12 x 12 instead.

The tassel tag pulls down to show the journalling.

img_6840-001

As you can see, I’ve sponged with whisper white craft ink over my doilies to achieve that look.

This carried onto a card I made ..

img_6825-001

Not sure if I want to have a sentiment for this card.  I started with a piece of Cupcakes and Carousels paper and altered it using different ink colours and finally Bermuda Bay ink and Whisper White Craft ink with the doilies as a stencil. This is part of a new technique class I’m setting up in Te Puke this year. Contact me if you’d like to know more?

Another technique card using Crumb Cake, Whisper White craft ink and the Beautiful You stamp set. I love this set!  I needed a few of these cards this week unfortunately  so these were simple..but love this sentiment too. This set is very versatile I reckon?

img_6830-001img_6828-001

My final card is another simple one ..and again using white craft ink.

Its using Lift Me Up stamp set..which I think is very versatile too!

I used water colour pencils with this one!  So happy that we have watercolour pencils back in this new catalogue..so easy to use!

These projects are for my entry to be a display stamper at Onstage in Auckland (A Stampin’ Up! event) this year. I was lucky enough to be picked last April and loved the experience.

Hope you enjoyed my little play! Now off to finish my Sisters Gift.

Check out my events on my Facebook Business Page that are coming up soon.

This month the Memory Keeping with Project Life SU design team have a theme which is “A Day in the Life!”

I’ve been itching to use my new kit All Year Long, particularly because we have just finished our busiest time of year on farm (calving time).

The days sure go pretty quick! My sanity saver is having 15 mins to craft on those busy days and sometimes a nap is more important but its like my little treat!

The housework can wait!

Here are my pages. Very unflattering photos but hey ..waking up at 4.30am is not the time to take a selfie!

Thank goodness for my slow cooker..its my one kitchen appliance I rely on all year round but especially in Winter and Spring.

12654617_1217563871607105_1504381475554147677_nHi and welcome to our latest blog share for the Memory Keeping Project Life SU Design team. If you arent already a member of this facebook group, then join our lovely page of Memory Keeping Project Life style.

This month is anything goes …so I pulled out my new favourite..Hello Lovely Kit and had a play..

Now these photos have been sitting around for well over a year …in fact nearly two years. I was intending on making a mini album with them so I had them printed as two ups (ie 2 2×3″ photos on a 4×6″ photo).

So rather than reprinting some as full 4×6″ photos I just used the two ups in the 4×6″ pockets. It makes it a very busy page but is a great way to showcase an event.

I simply had a lot of photos needing to go into this recording of an event so PL came to the rescue!

Floral Boutique Scrapbooking Layouts

Ive recently started up a Te Puke beginner/intermediate scrapbooking class at my home and we had our first class yesterday.

Here are the Layouts I taught.

IMG_5441-001

For the Sunshine Layout, I used Pop of Pink Specialty DSP for the flowers and also some sequins.

On both Layouts, I used Floral Boutique DSP, Night of Navy solid bakers twine, Banners Framelits, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and Botanical Builders Framelits. Diamantes for some bling!

On the Love Layout, I also used the Bloomin’ heart Thinlit, Thoughtful Banners Stamp set and the stamps from the Hello Lovely Project Life Accessory Pack.

IMG_5436-001

I’m very busy on farm at the moment as it is calving time and we are nearing half way so it was lucky that I could squeeze in some time to teach these Layouts. Now I need some time to make next months ones!

I still have some spaces if you would like to come..just email me!

MKPLSU Blog share-Hello Lovely PL Kit

Yes we are back this month for our monthly blog share using the New Hello Lovely Pl collection and Accessory kit. The new addition to the accessory kit is a set of stamps with the kit!

Here’s my pages of my Corgi Maggie!  .. I stamped ‘Hello Lovely’ and ‘life’ on this page. I cut down a few of the cards for some layers and corner rounded some and not others. I love to edge my photos and card with black ink.

There are a few new accessories I liked in this kit: The printed acetate, the chipboard flowers (I coloured these in but the look equably fab just as is I think!) and the little diecuts in the 2×2 cards are cute!

IMG_5346-001.JPG

I kept this page pretty simple ..its all about the photos and the journalling on this one!

This month we as a Design Team, are showcasing all of the retiring Project Life kits out of the 2015/2016 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to use Lets Get Away Collection as my focus this month. This is a travel themed Collection but one of the most fave things I like to do is use these collections for a different theme..just shows you how versatile these collection kits can be!

IMG_4912-002

My pages are about my Stampin’ Up! team and how much fun I have with these girls at camps and events. Usually our monthly team meeting has some fun moments always too!

IMG_4914-002IMG_4923-001.JPG

I love these 6×12 pockets which thankfully are going through as the Variety Pack 2 is my favourite Pocket page pack! I just made a slit in the side of the pocket so I could add in the centrestage ribbon!

Stampin” Up! Spoil us rotten at Onstage (and Centre Stage)! IMG_4915-001

Heres some of the cards from the collection!
